A tailored approach to Anthony Sinclair’s PR

This project was a dream come true for our team! We were appointed to handle the publicity around the re-launch of the British tailoring firm Anthony Sinclair.

Best known for creating the iconic Conduit Cut, made famous by Sean Connery in the original James Bond films, the re-launch coincided with the Golden Anniversary celebrations of the film franchise.

It was in the late 1950s from his shop on Conduit Street in Mayfair that Sinclair created the classic, pared down shape, which became known as the Conduit Cut. The Conduit Cut became a landmark in the history of Savile Row tailoring and is as fresh today as it was when 007 first stepped onto the screen in 1962.

Working closely with the Creative Director at Anthony Sinclair, we created a PR campaign with national and lifestyle press to announce the re-launch of the firm and the revival of the founder’s signature philosophy to produce elegant, understated and timeless clothing for a new generation of modern men. We focused our activity around the 50th anniversary celebrations and created targeted campaigns for the different media sectors including luxury, menswear, retail and Bond forums. We also worked with The Barbican for their Designing 50 years of Bond Style exhibition to secure collaborative PR coverage.

Following the official re-launch activity Anthony Sinclair retained our services and we continue to represent the firm as they now develop their business to focus on online trade.
